In the Fall of 2021, Friends of Hyalite reached out to me for assistance in creating an improved information sign for the trail kiosks located in Hyalite Canyon near Bozeman, Montana. Having previously collaborated with them on other projects, I was eager to take on this challenge.
FOH expressed their concerns about the old sign being wordy, difficult to comprehend, unremarkable, and outdated. We began working on the new sign in January 2022, focusing on including information about the Bozeman Creek Watershed.
The new sign serves to educate visitors on responsible outdoor behavior and promotes safety by highlighting potential hazards. By providing clear information and encouraging responsible conduct, the sign helps visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience in Hyalite Canyon.
