At this point, I’ve made so many Teton pieces that I’ve honestly lost count—but somehow, they never get old. The Tetons are one of the most iconic ranges in the West, and no matter how many times I revisit them in rope, they always bring a fresh challenge and a new perspective.
 
This range has a way of demanding attention. The steep, complex peaks and dramatic slopes are tough to capture, especially with rope as a medium. It takes patience to find the right balance of texture and line, and it doesn't always come easily. But every time I finish a Teton piece, I’m reminded of why I keep coming back to them.
 
While this range is often better suited to wider landscape formats, this particular view worked beautifully in a circular frame. It’s always satisfying when something unexpected just clicks. I know these mountains hold deeply personal memories for so many people, and I hope this piece ends up with someone who feels just as connected to them.
